Heytesbury and Sutton Veny Cricket Club was founded in 2007 following the merger of Heytesbury Cricket Club (19?) and Sutton Veny Cricket Club (xxxx). This merger has enabled the new club to continue to field two teams in the Wiltshire League, whilst maintaining a cricketing presence in both villages, an achievement of which the club is rightly proud.
The club also has a thriving Junior Section which has seen many of its members progress to play for the senior teams as well as achieving representative honours at various age groups.
